Hubby’s 30th at Tea With Tracy!

This past Sunday was Hubby’s 30th birthday! My adorable little Taurus man wanted to celebrate his birthday at one of Connecticut’s cutest gems – Tea With Tracy!

This was my third time going to Tea with Tracy, and Hubby’s second, and let me tell you – if you live in or plan to visit Connecticut, this is one place that you need to experience!

Tea With Tracy

Tracy Tenpenny, owner and operator, opened Tea with Tracy in 2011 in their Seymour location. Their Oxford location opened in 2021 and boasts a bigger dining area, and additional steak house that we have yet to try. Both locations boast over 220 flavors of tea, tea sandwiches, desserts, and coffee.

A display of world clocks, between the adorably decorated restrooms!

Interested in trying some of Tracy’s teas from the comfort of your home? Visit their online store and choose from their wide selection of teas by category including black teas, green teas, jasmine, oolong, white teas, yellow teas, pu-erh tea, herbal teas, organic teas, and decaffeinated options.

Tea with Tracy offers a wide range of events including three themed-dinners – the Last Dinner on the Titanic, the Wild Game Dinner, and A Downton Abbey theme dinner – all of which offers a six course meal; Parties such as Afternoon Tea, Tea Party (light lunch), All Inclusive Afternoon Tea, Breakfast Party (location dependent); and classes such as An early Christmas Scone Class, dinner offered, and A Paint-a-Teapot sip and paint. Services include afternoon tea, bridal showers, and parties.

Our Looks

I combined several vintage pieces for my look, including the DKNY silk dress I got from the vintage fair, a fringed vest that belonged to my great aunt, a pair of Fashion Nova skinny jeans, and my Steve Madden platform sandals.

Hubby’s wearing his uniform of black jeans and a button up t-shirt, and he also had a blue paisley bomber jacket.

The Decor

I love how absolutely adorable the entire tea house is! I mean, can these mismatched tea sets be any cuter?!

What Do You Think?

Will you be visiting Tea with Tracy to channel all of your coquette fantasies? I know I’ll be heading back again soon!

Inspired by this adorable tea house and some of the vintage pieces I bought last month, next week’s post is dedicated to the upcoming Bridgerton Season 3 premier! Learn how to channel Regency Era fashion into your everyday look, and see how I styled some of my new vintage finds!

Have a great rest of your week, and remember to SLAY!
