Welcome to the Makeup Round-Up! This is a monthly series where I’ll be sharing new makeup products, and the looks I’ve created throughout this month that weren’t highlighted in their own articles.

The Products
This month I had a strong focus on skincare, investing and researching the ingredients that would help repair and support my skin. Similarly, I was searching for the makeup products I know my skin loves – plus one new goodie!
The Complexion

I’ve been using this foundation & concealer combination for nearly a decade and it’s one that I always go back to! This Lancome concealer is an exact match to my skin tone, making it the perfect product to quickly hide how tired I am! And in a similar fashion, this Clinique shade is also my perfect match; this formula is perfect for every day, but I also like the matte formula in the winter!

The Eyes
After falling in love with another version of the Morphe ChromaPlus palette I knew I needed to get my hands on this gorgeous pastel variation: Sky-Fi!

The Lips
I was super lucky and grateful that Aora Mexico had gifted me their newest offering – Acariciame Mas Cristal! This crystal clear lip serum features a blend of five different chilies for a plumping heat you can feel instantly!

The Nails
I’ve been slowly but surely adding to my Olive + June collection and recently picked up the shade Your Mani Looks So Good in Those Jeans to create one last summer set!

The Looks
This month I got more experimental with my work makeup, but I bet you can guess which two looks were my favorite this month!
The Odyssey Movie Glam
I started off the month by transforming into my version of Zendaya’s The Odyssey press tour look. I used my Bellami extensions to create this fluffy braid style and added to the goddess look with a Mac Duggal gown. For the glam, I utilized a few of my favorite products: Aora Mexico Mirame eyeshadow palette, About Face Fluid Matte Eye Paint in shade White Noise, and the House of Lashes style Gisella Demi.

Sometimes Late But Never Boring!
When you subscribe to the We Aim To Slay Youtube channel you learn quickly that I’m nearly incapable to doing “simple makeup.” Even if I’m only headed into the office, I’d rather be late than be boring!

Cleopatra-Core
After finally opening my personalized dusting powder jar this is look I was inspired to create!

A Spritz of Glam
Months ago I was captivated by Morphe Python Code eyeshadow palette, but was shocked to realize this was only my second time using it! This look was inspired by the packaging of my newest fragrance obsession – God of Fire by Stephane Humbert Lucas.

Space Candy
And rounding out the month, I used the Morphe Sky-Fi palette to create this super fun cotton-candy-hued alien look, accented with the House of Lashes #CollabCollection style Marigold and scattered rhinestones.

What Do You Think?
Is there a makeup look you’d like to see me try, or a product you’d like me to test in the next Makeup Round-Up? Let me know in the comments below! I’ll be back next month with another Monthly Round-Up, until then…
Have a great rest of your week, and remember to SLAY!
