This title should be somewhat self-explanatory – seven days worth of outfits. But, you’d be surprised how difficult it is to remember to take photos of those outfits each day. Even though I set out with the intention of shooting at least a few photos each day, I still managed to miss one day *intense eye rolling*.

My mom, sister, Camryn, and I spent the day frolicking in our grandparent’s pool to escape the New England summer heat wave.
If this swimsuit looks familiar, you probably recognize it from the fiasco of an online shopping experience that was ordering from the company, Fairy Season. As cute as this swimsuit ~can~ look, it CANNOT be a beach swimsuit due to the lack of lining and sheer white fabric. I’ll probably just have to suck it up – this is a bodysuit, NOT a swimsuit.

Ah, Monday morning. We were still experiencing high heat and high humidity, so this flowy dress was the perfect choice to stay cool and remain professional.
This is one of those dresses that you have in your closet for years, but somehow never remember to wear it. My grandmother bought it from Venus years and years ago, and I’ve only worn it a handful of times: great for keeping it clean, not so great for the actual wearing, you know?

I just ordered this dress about a month ago from Roxy, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. The dress is super soft and comfortable to wear, but the fibers stretch on each wearing; again, this is what clothes do, but I like being able to rewear things before I have to wash them again (it’s not as gross as it sounds; washing too often actually does more damage to the fibers). And, it’s essentially see through – not something that usually bothers me, but it renders it almost unwearable for work. I shimmied around that problem by layering it over a three dollar t-shirt from Walmart, an item that is quickly becoming a wardrobe staple, as I’ve bought at least ten others in different colors.

Happy birthday, America! Can you believe that this is the first denim mini skirt I’ve ever owned?! Neither can I, and I can almost guarantee this won’t be the last.
This skirt, by the brand ‘Just Quella’, is a tad too short, so I will be longer for longer alternatives. (Leave some comments below if you have any suggestions!)

Another day spent in the office, and thus, another challenge in dressing appropriately for the office while not falling to the sweltering heat.
This shirt is also from Venus, and these shorts were borrowed from my mom :). Not pictured is my Zara denim jacket, to protect against the AC in the office!

After work, my mom, her friend, Sue, and I went to Flora Plant + Drink, a vegan restaurant in West Hartford, CT. This dress, from Francesca’s, was on the sale rack and due to a sale from the week before I got this one, plus another sun dress, and some earrings, all under fifty dollars!

Okay, I was doing so freaking well until Friday. This is the outfit I forgot to photograph, but I was in luck because I wore this dress on Easter! So, this photo is from three months ago, but you catch my drift.
This dress was another Walmart steal, coming in at twelve dollars! It has these odd appliqué-that-aren’t-appliqué roses and a mesh panel beneath the neck.
Because this is July and not April, I did not style the dress with a sweater, tights, suede booties, or my trench coat. Instead, I opted for my trusted Zara denim jacket and the silver sandals I wore all week long.

On Saturday, we celebrated my friend Jaime’s high school graduation!
I kept my outfit casual by wearing these Charlotte Russe jeans, a tunic I got from a boutique in NYC when I was in high school, and these Pocahontas inspired sandals!

And there you have it folks! Seven outfits in seven days! Do you like these kinds of posts? If so, let me know in the comments below, and remember to SLAY, my loves!
