I think we can all agree that doing your makeup is hard enough, but doing it without a mirror? I felt like I needed a degree in rocket science. The parts I had the most trouble with were my eyebrows (because evidently, I don’t know where they are on my face), my eyeliner (because I poked both eyes) and my mascara (again, both eyes poked. How is that even possible??) But without further delay, let’s begin the process!
- First I started with my Nyx Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer.

2. Then I used the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in Syracuse.

3. Next, using a Beauty Blender (featured above) I blended out the foundation.

4. Now it’s time to conceal, using Maybelline’s FitMe concealer in #15 Fair.

5. Blend, girl, Blend! Then bake the concealer with the NARS Light Reflecting Setting Pressed Powder in Translucent/Crystal.

6. Next; the Iman Sheer Finish Bronzing Powder in Sand to add some color to the cheeks and warmth to the hairline.

7. Now the difficulties start; the Eyebrows. I *attempted* to fill in my brows, once I found them of course, using the CoverGirl TruNudes eyeshadow palette, #805, in the color Sable.

8. Eyeshadow! I started with the CoverGirl TruNudes palette, using the lightest shade, Buff, as my base and transition color. Then I went in on the outer third of the eyelid with the shade Fawn. Then I switched to the E.L.F Cosmetics Little Black Beauty Book Cool Edition eyeshadow palette. I used a bronze color for the outer third of the lid and a mauve shade as my accent color.

9. Now for the *arguably* most difficult part: eyeliner and mascara. **Exercise EXTREME caution at this point everyone! I poked myself in both eyes with both products.** I used the Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil in Black Velvet to line my bottom waterline and to line my upper lash line. Then I used my finger to smudge out the liner, mostly because I wasn’t sure I got any of this in the correct place (LOL!) Then I went in with the L’Oreal Hydrofuge Voluminous Carbon Black Waterproof Mascara. Afterwards I used a small fluffy brush to clean up under the eyes.

10. To finish this look, I lined my lips with my go-to, the CoverGirl Lip Perfection liner in Smoky. Then I used the Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipsticks in Kristen, used around the outside perimeter to act as a base color, and Angel, applied in the center. Because these are matte and dry fast, I quickly blended together the lip colors with my finger.

And this is the finished look!

Have any of you tried the mirror-less makeup challenge? Would you feel brave enough to try it if you haven’t? Let me know in the comments, and remember to SLAY!
