We Aim To Slay

Recently I shared my utter joy and excitement for receiving my first House of Lashes PR Box for the debut of their Daily Collection! After using all three pairs – The Muse, The Sweetie, and The Flirt – until they quite literally fell apart, I placed my very first House of Lashes order! And as an added bonus, I was lucky enough to receive the House of Lashes National Lash Day PR Box yesterday!

You can read my full review of both of The Muse and The Sweetie in my review of the Daily Collection, but these two styles have quickly become my go-to lashes for everyday use!

Macchiato 

I was drawn to this pair because of the gorgeous blend of black, brown, and reddish lash hairs. You may or may not know that my mom is a natural redhead, and I actually have a lot of red tones in my hair! This pair of lashes had to be trimmed a bit as they were a bit long for my eyes, but otherwise I think they look great!

Love & Light

I’ve now taken the House of Lashes quiz twice; both times Love & Light was the number one result, and with good reason! These lashes feature a much thicker band than I had previously tried, and I found them to be very easy to work with.

I ended up using these lashes in one of the Valentine’s Day inspired looks I created, and I think they really made the look pop!

House Of Lashes & National Lash Day

During my review of the Daily Collection, I explained that the brand was founded by Jenn Chiba in 2012, with the goal of inspiring and empowering “people regardless of age, race, or gender to feel beautiful with lashes that not only complement their diverse eye shapes, but their unique personalities, too,” according to their website.

And not only is the H.O.L., team promoting beauty, they are dedicated to supporting organizations across the globe, helping to “educate, raise awareness, and develop research with a good cause,” working with organizations such as, AAPI Women Lead, Create & Cultivate, The Be Rare Foundation, Alopecia UK, Keep A Breast, and Goby.

In 2015 H.O.L., partnered with the National Day Calendar to create National Lash Day, which is observed annually on February 19th! According to the National Day Calendar, National Lash Day promotes “the love and need for true and false eyelashes.” And while many of us are familiar with eyelashes in terms of makeup, they are also important in keeping “dirt or substances from entering the eye and aid in preventing infections,” as well as “preventing eye moisture from evaporating.”

I was delighted to receive my National Lash Day promotional kit which included four of their best-selling lash styles, their best-selling lash glue, a carrying case, and a lash applicator! And, in honor of National Lash Day, House of Lashes is offering a 30% off site-wide sale until February 23rd, 2026, and the Heart Charm Case as a free gift!

Kitty Cat

This was the first set I tried on, and I think they’re adorable! They’re a full lash style that amplifies the length of your lashes, and I found that they most closely mimic the look of my natural lashes, making them a great day-to-day choice!

Purrr

I love the added drama of this spiky effect! Similar to other members of the Feline Collection, the band on these lashes is nearly invisible which allows for seamless blending amongst your own lashes!

Iconic Lite

This is one of House of Lashes most popular styles and I can understand why! Iconic Lite offers full volume and medium length, making them a subtle way to add extra glamour to any makeup look!

Wing It Mini

These lashes are no joke! Not only do they offer full volume and length – as the pageant world would say, these are stage lashes! – they also boast a flared double level for extra impact!

The Glue, The Applicator, & The Travel Bag

If, like me, you’re new to your faux lash journey then I would highly recommend using an application tool like the Flawless Precision Applicator! This tweezer-like tool allows you to apply your falsies close to your lashline without disrupting your eye makeup, and the spatula-like end helps you to secure the inner and outer corners.

I had previously tried the HOL Clear Lash Glue because it’s the one my mom swears by, but in the time since last using it, I had forgotten how well it works. After trying on all four pairs of lashes in this set, it was nearly impossible to get them back off!

And lastly, the Travel Bag allows you to safely store and travel with all of your favorite House of Lashes products!

My Thoughts!

If I haven’t already made it clear, House of Lashes is one of the reasons I’ve fallen in love with the world of false eyelashes! I look forward to using these sets to create more intricate makeup looks, and fully exploring the world of falsies!
