#SevenDaysOfSlay – Spring is Almost Here!

Happy April! As we get closer and closer to spring in the Northeast, I’m wearing less layers and breaking out my open-toe shoes! Let’s break down the details of a week’s worth of looks in a Springtime edition of #SevenDaysOfSlay

And as an added bonus, this edition of #SevenDaysOfSlay is also an exercise in capsule wardrobe dressing! Let me know what you think of how I incorporated each piece!

Let’s get into it!

Day One

For a day of running errands, hanging with friends, or generally enjoying the sunshine, I’m opting for a pair of boyfriend jeans and a cropped black tank top – these are both second hand, by American Eagle – and grabbing my favorite black cardigan from Hot Topic. I finished off this look with my mermaid-print Converse high tops and simple gold hoops for accessories.

Day Two

Today I’m taking a step away from casual, trading my sneakers for my Steve Madden platform sandals! But, I’m keeping my look comfy and laid back by layering a multi-colored knit sweater from SheIn beneath a chambray dress that I got from Walmart.

Day Three

We’re moving into the middle of the week with a chic black and white look, pairing an American Eagle tank top with a midi skirt from Shein! I’ve topped off the look with my Shein denim jacket, and decided the Steve Madden platform sandals were the perfect compliment!

Day Four

For those less-than-stellar spring days, I reach for pants rather than a skirt. Today I’m wearing a pair of caramel colored, corduroy trousers from Shein with black tank top bodysuit from Forever 21.

Day Five

I’ve had this Zara pleather skater skirt for years, and it never fails me, pairing perfectly with nearly everything I own! Today I opted for simplicity, pairing a black tank top bodysuit and my denim jacket with my Converse high tops and gold jewelry.

Day Six

A cool and casual cool for a day of errand running! I had to break out my Converse high tops again, pairing them with this caramel-colored, corduroy pair of trousers from SheIn and this white cropped tank top from American Eagle. A pair of golden leaf earrings finished off the look and I was ready to hit the town!

Day Seven

To end the week, I’m opting for bright springy colors, starting with this stand out vest! Double breasted and featuring button details, this bright orange vest – from Shein – paired perfectly with a pair of FashionNova skinny jeans, a white, knit, crop top I got from T.J. Maxx, and the Franco Sarto boots (also a T.J. Maxx find!). To tie into the springy vibes, I opted for simple gold jewelry – a set of bangles, my Saga Jewels snake earrings, and my Lor Francais snack collar necklace – and a BCBG off-white leather cross body purse.
