I first learned about Astoria Activewear earlier this year through ads on Instagram. Little did I know, Astoria is the sister brand of one of my favorite swimwear lines, Haute Swimwear! Both brands are based out of Miami, FL., and were created by April Nottingham.
I applied to the ambassador program on July 18th and was approved the same day! That means you can instantly save 15% off your Astoria Activewear orders by using the code “WATS15“!
I placed my first order on August 4th, and it arrived on August 14th. Deciding what to order first was an exciting prospect. Astoria offers a wide range of active and lounge wear, so I wanted to select items that 1) could be worn together as well as separately, 2) that could be worn inside and outside of the gym, and 3) would continue to look good on my body as I got back into shape. After searching the entire website, I decided on two items.

The first piece I chose was the Seamless Sculpt Sports Crop – a size medium, in black. What initially drew me to this active top was the fact that it functions as both a top and a sports bra — making this the perfect daytime-to-gym-time tops! So far, I’ve only worn this to work out, but I’ve got a few ideas of how to style this for spring-time looks! This fabric feels very heavy duty, and is lined, but I still prefer to wear this top with the removable cups.

The second piece I chose was the LUXE Blossom Short – a size large, in their cherry print. I’m not usually one that likes the bicycle-cut short, but these are incredibly comfortable! Typically, I’ve found that bicycle shorts have super tight elastic bands around the thigh, and although these shorts to have a seam in that area, its not fitted, eliminating the “stuffed sausage effect” that has historically kept me away from shorts of this length.
My first time working out in my Astoria’s, I decided to take advantage of the summer weather by doing a stability and mobility workout at home using my Indo Board. These pieces have great range of motion! The shorts don’t move at all, although, the top did roll up a bit – but I suspect that has more to do with the fact that, at that time, I should have ordered up a size.
Recently, Astoria debuted it’s newest collection – Gingham Print! This collection offers blue and white as well as pink and white prints, available as a legging, bicycle short, sports bra, and headband!

Those who have been following this blog for a while will know that I’ve struggled in the past to maintain a healthy weight and exercise regimine. 2021 was the year that I learned how capable I was in the gym, and although I took 2022 off from my exercise routine, joining the Astoria team as really motivated me to get back to exercising and eating better, and as a result I’ve already lost a few pounds and several inches off my waist!
In my next Astoria purchase I’ll be ordering the RISE Seamless Legging, LUXE Ignite Sports Bra, VELOCITY Seamless Zip Up, and this super cute lounge set the LUXE Lounge Crop and the LUXE Lounge Pant!
