Last week I posted about my most recent Ulta Beauty haul and after playing with all of my new goodies I created this simple and pretty makeup look – now I’m going to walk you through it!

As always I started with clean and moisturized skin. Using my hands I then applied an even layer of Maybelline’s Master Prime primer base all over my face. Using my ring finger I applied the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage concealer in shade Bisque (320 W) Beige Nature (04) under my eyes and on any blemishes.
With a dampened Real Techniques beauty sponge I applied the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid foundation.
This is not my usual foundation, and truth be told, while this is a great shade family match (shade 5.5), the base color in this shade is far too pink for my skin tone. With that being said, I happen to really love how light weight it is, and how a little bit goes a long way for an even and light coverage.

This was the first time that I tried the technique of applying setting spray (Urban Decay All Nighter) prior to applying setting powder (Maybelline Lasting Fix Loose setting powder). Go figure, I didn’t test out the sprayer before aiming it at my face, and took a huge spritz right on the cheek. After giving it some time to dry I had to use the sponge to buff this spot out. I waited for my face to feel a bit tacky and then applied the powder. Other than that little mishap, I didn’t not like this technique, but I’m not sure that I noticed enough of a difference to do this every time.
I finished the base of my look with the Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in shade ‘Quirky’ and the Urban Decay Illuminated highlighter in shade ‘Aura’.

I always start off my eye look by filling in my eyebrows – and lately I’ve been using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder duo in shade ‘Ebony’. (I finally used the Elf Cosmetics eyebrow brush from last week’s haul and I have to say I am very impressed! It’s quite a bit thinner than my old brush, which allows for more precise application.)
Once again I turned to my trusted Morphe palette, first reviewed in THIS post!

Using the Elf Cosmetics eye contour brush, I applied the shade ‘Spotted’ in my crease. Then I used the shade ‘Off the Grid’ in the outer half of my crease and blended the two shades together. Next I applied the shades ‘Outfit Change’ on my eyelid, ‘Awe Night Long’ on the outer third of my eyelid, ‘South Beach’ on the inner third of my eyelid, and ‘Stilettos’ on the inner corner, blending between each shade. Lastly, I applied ‘Awe Night Long’ along the lower lash line.

Next I lined both my top and bottom lash line using my favorite felt tip liner (first reviewed here!). But, once I started blending the lower lash line it became far too smoked out and I ended up going back in with a cotton swab to clean it up a bit. Then I finished off my eyes with the Maybelline Lash Stiletto waterproof mascara.
Afterward I set my face with the same setting spray, and finished the look with the Bite Beauty Lipstick in the shade ‘Chai’.
I really enjoy doing these “every day” glams, but I’m a sucker for a full glam! Let me know some of your favorite looks, and I’d be happy to try and recreate them!
Have a wonderful day, my loves, and remember to SLAY!
