This past weekend, my sister Molly and I celebrated her 18th birthday by attending the Dorothy, Three Days Grace, and Breaking Benjamin concert at the Xfinity Theater! While we were both new to the band, Dorothy, we have both been fans of Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin for many years. One of our other sisters, Shelby, is a HUGE Three Days Grace fan, so when they go on tour again I’m sure we’ll be making another trip to see them!

In participation of a great evening, Molly and I each created an eye makeup look using the Morphe 35H Hot Spot Artistry palette – the new palette that I mentioned in this post!
As always, I began my look with a clean face before building a base using primer, foundation, blush, highlight, and setting powder.

I created my eye look using the shades ‘Stilettos,’ a golden champagne hue; ‘Alter Ego,’ a mauve sort of maroon; ‘Party On,’ a deep burgundy; ‘Awe Night Long,’ a deep espresso; and I finished the look by lining my eyes with the shade ‘Chillax,’ a silvery sort of gunmetal gray.
‘Stilettos’ was my base color, and was applied all over the lid of my eye. I used ‘Alter Ego’ as my lid color, and ‘Party On’ as a sort of half lid and half outer corner and crease shade, to add depth to the eye. I used ‘Awe Night Long’ to darken the outer corner, and applied ‘Chillax’ as eyeliner all the way around my lash lines.
I finished off my eyes using mascara, and created a maroon type of mauve lip by lining with my favorite Urban Decay lip liner, and topping that with a Revlon lip stain.
Molly created her eye look using the shades ‘Siesta,’ a beige with a slight shimmer; ‘Off The Grid,’ a matte sort of reddish brown; and ‘Awe Night Long.”

Not only did we discover a new rock band (here’s looking at you, Dorothy) but we also got to enjoy and evening of live music and hear some of our favorite songs!

Have you been to any concerts, shows, or performances this summer? Let me know in the comments below! And, as always, remember to SLAY my loves!
